Beginning mid February Hector will be featuring in a Bord Bia TV and radio campaign reminding shoppers to choose pork, bacon and ham with the Bord Bia Quality Mark for reassurance that they have been produced to the highest standards and that the origin can be traced back to the farms.
Aidan Cotter, Chief Executive, Bord Bia commented "Our "Bring Home the Bacon" campaign is designed to illustrate the importance of knowing the origin of our pork, bacon and ham products and to support the pig farming industry which is currently experiencing very difficult times."
