Now is a great time to plant herbaceous perennials, grasses, shrubs and container grown trees. All that lovely rain means that plants are getting a good natural watering, and that there will be plenty of natural moisture in the ground for planting newly bought plants. They will get off to a great start and you will be rewarded with a fabulous garden to enjoy while eating ‘al fresco’ this summer.
