The Just Ask restaurant of the month for October goes to Marlfield House & The Duck Terrace Restaurant, Gorey, Co. Wexford.
“Our talented chefs cook using fresh and exciting ingredients from our own kitchen garden, along with fresh meat and seafood from the locality. All of our fresh meat is 100% Irish and we are proud to list our valued suppliers on our website and also our menus. Slaney Valley supply us with our beef and lamb and O’Neills in Enniscorthy supply us with our bacon. We source Glin Valley chicken from Shannonvale in Co. Cork and fresh seafood from nearby Duncannon Fish and Kilmore Quay. Killowen Farm and Wexford Creamery supply us with our dairy products and we supplement the fresh vegetables, herbs and fruit grown in our kitchen garden with produce from Cullens and Keelings. Wexford’s famous summer fruits are supplied by Green’s Berry Farm, down the road in Gorey”.
