No. 5 Fenn’s Quay is awarded Bord Bia Just Ask Restaurant of the Year 2015

No. 5 Fenn’s Quay in the heart of Cork City has been awarded Bord Bia Just Ask Restaurant of the Year 2015 beating off stiff competition from many top establishments across the country.

Commenting on the restaurant’s sourcing, Kate Lawlor from Fenn’s Quay said: "Our philosophy is simple; we use only the best produce from the finest local suppliers and treat them with care and attention to detail. We encourage our customers to ask our staff if they are looking for any further information on our sourcing and are thrilled to receive this recognition from Georgina Campbell and Bord Bia."

The roll call of suppliers from Cork County alone includes famous producers such as Rosscarbery Recipes for breakfast meats, O’Connells Fish Merchants for seafood, O’Mahony Butchers, English Market for fresh meat and Durcan’s Meats for spiced beef.  Local cheeses include Gubbeen, Carrigaline and Toonsbridge Mozzarella and Ballyhoura Mountain Mushrooms in North Cork supply a range of Irish grown specialist mushrooms.
