The fast pace of life for individuals and families is increasingly leading them into precooked and industrial food, which can contain higher fat and salt content.
However, companies are now coming with concepts to help busy consumers maintain a healthy diet. One such example is Ecookit, an innovative proposition where you are presented weekly with 4 healthy, simple and delicious menus and detailed recipes. You order the pack and receive all the ingredients needed to prepare them on your door step.
Launched by 4 young Catalan entrepreneurs* two months ago, it already has more than 100 customers. This pioneering initiative encourages healthy eating, responsible and sustainable consumption. Consumers benefit from product that is organic, fresh and seasonal, and purchased from small local producers that are environmentally friendly.
Once you register you can start ordering weekly through the web page. There are 3 size formats: for 1 person (€30), a couple (€50) or a family (€80). One day a week, the user receives a home delivery of their order for that week with the exact quantities to prepare the weekly recipes, avoiding the hassle of thinking the menus, doing the shopping and avoiding leftovers and wasting food.
