The purpose of the Supply Chain Assurance Scheme is to assist meat processing establishments and wholesalers in demonstrating that the products they supply are traceable back to Bord Bia Quality Assured member plants and/or farms.
The Suply Chain Assurance Scheme is intended for establishments who procure meat and eggs from members of the Bord Bia Quality Assurance Schemes for supply to the foodservice sector i.e. wholesalers, butchers and small scale cutting, boning or processing plants.
