The Bord Bia Retail and Foodservice programmes are recruiting for 2014. These programmes are designed to help companies develop the expertise required to deal successfully with retail and foodservice operators in the UK and Ireland markets. The programmes have been running for a number of years and have assisted many Irish companies to achieve significant growth in their chosen market. A range of support is available to participating companies - from market intelligence to customised workshops and access to mentoring with retail and foodservice experts.
Companies are encouraged to select which market they are targeting - Ireland / UK - and which channel – retail or foodservice – is most appropriate for their business. All programmes are run over a 12 month period starting in January 2013. To find out how these programmes can help your companies development, please click on the relevant links below.
Testimonials for the 2013 Food Service programmes
"Signing up to Bord Bia's Market Entry Programme in 2013 allowed us to focus on potential opportunities in the Irish foodservice market. The independent Chefs Taste Panel gave us some great feedback that helped us to ‘tweak’ our product to meet industry requirements. We also met key trade contacts at each of the workshops and the follow up mentoring helped us focus on putting relevant learnings into practice."

“Participation on Bord Bia's Irish Foodservice Programme has been fantastic from a networking point of view – both with other programme members and industry buyers. Over the past 12 months we have substantially grown our business in Ireland and are currently driving export sales in the UK market."
