Ballykilcavan Brewing Company has shown a significant improvement in their community engagement initiatives in 2022. They increased their targeted charitable contributions tenfold this year, led by the support of the international "Brewers
for Ukraine" initiative. The proceeds were donated to the Ukrainian Red Cross. This exceptional result was achievable through the engagement of all members of staff to work together with Ukrainian natives to brew the beer and sell it for this charitable cause.
In addition to their charitable contributions to the international community, the member also invested in their local community. For example, multiple local groups were granted free access to Ballykilcavan farm and brewery to learn more about the craft and the biodiversity of the historic place. This resulted in improved community engagement, anchoring the business within the community and building trust and engagement throughout the year.
