Consumer attitudes, behaviours and interests have been changing over recent years, with different factors influencing their overall spending habits. Over the last 12 months, the Covid-19 crisis has had a significant impact on these behaviours, particularly when it comes to food and drink. Some sectors have been more impacted than others, with the likes of In-Store Bakery facing implications in particular. With these changes in mind, Bord Bia has commissioned and completed a piece of research that looks at In Store Bakery in Great Britain, to support the industry and to help Irish suppliers to prepare for the future in this dynamic sector.
