UK Premium Chocolate Market Debrief
The UK remains one of our main export markets for Irish chocolate and confectionery, and to support this Bord Bia have just completed research into the premium UK chocolate shopper to better understand what is shaping the upper end of the chocolate market.
The research took the form of focus groups and shop alongs with premium chocolate shoppers, 1-2-1 interviews with chocolate gurus, and these findings were tested amongst a panel of over 1,000 premium chocolate shoppers. The results will help guide Irish confectionery companies planning for growth in the UK market through guiding more compelling innovation and enhancing trade relationships.
