For 2018 it is estimated that the value of food and drink exports from Ireland is €12.11bn, an increase of over €4.7bn since 2010. The value of Ireland’s food and drink exports has increased more than 64% in the last eight years. For the first time during this period, however, the value of Ireland’s food and drink exports has not increased year on year.
The value in 2018 is 4% less than the value attained in 2017. Irish food and drink were exported to over 180 countries in 2018, with increased output and a consistency of global demand for key products driving results.
