In 2024, Dromod Boxty Ltd reduced packaging per unit output from 51.6 kg/t in 2023 to 43.29 kg/t, exceeding its milestone target by 9.3%. This reduction reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to packaging efficiency and environmental responsibility.

A major contributor to this progress was the transition to pre-printed films across four of the company’s five product lines. This change eliminated the need for additional labelling, resulting in a lighter packaging profile and streamlined production. The final product line is expected to adopt pre-printed film in early 2025, further enhancing packaging performance.

In parallel, Dromod Boxty Ltd maintained 100% recyclable packaging across all products from 2023 to 2024, meeting its milestone target. This consistency demonstrates the company’s dedication to sustainable packaging solutions and its alignment with both consumer expectations and national sustainability goals.

One key initiative completed in 2024 involved verifying the recyclability of all packaging materials. This review, conducted in collaboration with suppliers, confirmed that all packaging used was fully recyclable, reinforcing the company’s sustainability credentials and transparency.
