Pathway Programmes
The Pathways programmes provide training and mentoring to help Origin Green member companies develop plans in areas including greenhouse-gas emissions reduction, packaging management and biodiversity.The programmes combine training and mentoring to help participating companies assess relevant issues, develop plans and identify actions that support their environmental and corporate reporting objectives. Participation does not itself demonstrate that an environmental target has been achieved.
Pathways to Net Zero
The Pathways to Net Zero training programme combines workshops, mentoring and practical support. It is intended to help eligible Origin Green member companies understand greenhouse-gas emissions accounting, develop emissions-reduction plans and prepare for climate-related reporting requirements that apply to their organisation. Designed for eligible organisations that want to develop and implement greenhouse-gas emissions-reduction strategies and better understand the climate-reporting requirements relevant to them.
Pathways to Sustainable Packaging
The programme provides training and mentoring to help participating businesses review their packaging, identify relevant impacts and develop a packaging-management action plan. The programme supports planning and capability building; it does not certify packaging or guarantee a particular environmental outcome.
Pathways to Biodiversity Planning
The programme is designed to deepen participating Origin Green member companies’ understanding of biodiversity-related dependencies, impacts and risks that may be relevant to their operations and value chains. It also supports companies in considering whether biodiversity objectives, actions and reporting are relevant to their business and, where appropriate, in developing a biodiversity plan.The programme also provides general information to support planning for biodiversity-related reporting requirements that may apply to a participating company. Companies should confirm their individual obligations independently.
