Since 2016 and by the end of 2017, 263 Bord Bia client companies will have participated in trade fairs to over 2.1 million visitors from around the world. The purpose of the Irish Food Industry’s presence at these shows is to network in a targeted business environment and ultimately gain new export business. Japan Intl Seafood, Tokyo, 21-23 August 2019

The Japan International Seafood & Expo Technology is Japan’s largest seafood trade show.  This event, now in its’ 21th year.  It is a show that brings together the professionals and experts of the industry to connect and interact with each other and to share their ideas and experiences. The 2019 show is expected to feature more than 1,300 exhibiting companies with an expected attendance in the region of 40,000 visitors.

WOFEX, Phillipines, 7-10 August 2019

WOFEX is the biggest food show in the Philippines occupying the two biggest venues in the country, the World Trade Centre and the SMX Convention Centre. For the past 18 years, WOFEX has consistently innovated into becoming the biggest and most effective trade show in the country.

Bloom, Phoenix Park Dublin, 30 May- 3 June 2019

Over 115,000 people, including 20,000 children, attended Bord Bia’s Bloom festival in the Phoenix Park, Dublin over the June bank holiday weekend. Over 250 UK and Irish food buyers attended Bord Bia’s trade breakfast on Friday for face to face meetings with over 100 food and drink companies, with an estimated €10 million spent onsite over the 5 days.
