The key energy-saving initiatives included installing solar panels, a CUES system for chilled rooms, and upgrading freezer fridges. The CUES system, which monitors internal fish temperatures, reduced cooling energy demand by 20-30%, while solar panels cut external power reliance by 11%. Morgans Fine Fish also received Brexit Adjustment Reserve (BAR) funding which supported these upgrades.
