Aid for participation of producers of agricultural products in quality schemes

Purpose of Aid

The purpose of this aid is to encourage the participation of primary producers (famers) in the following Bord Bia Quality Assurance Schemes:

  • Beef/Lamb
  • Dairy
  • Pigmeat
  • Poultry
  • Eggs
  • Horticulture (including edible and ornamental horticulture).

Eligibility

In accordance with Article 20.2 (b) of of Commission Regulation (EU) No 2022/2472 (OJ L327/1 of 21.12.2022), entry to Bord Bia Quality Assurance Schemes is open to all primary producers who are willing to accept in full, the conditions laid down for the schemes. Conditions of Aid

In accordance with Article 20.1 (b) of Commission Regulation (EU) No 2022/2472 (OJ L327/1 of 21.12.2022). aid is used towards the costs for compulsory measures in relation to  the Bord Bia’s Quality Assurance Schemes.

In accordance with Article 20.7 of Commission Regulation (EU) No 2022/2472 (OJ L327/1 of 21.12.2022). no direct payments are made to participants in the Bord Bia Quality Assurance Schemes.

In accordance with Article 20.7 of Commission Regulation (EU) No 2022/2472 (OJ L327/1 of 21.12.2022).aid is paid only to the organisation responsible for control measures, the research provider or the consultancy provider.

In accordance with Article 20.8 of Commission Regulation (EU) No 2022/2472 (OJ L327/1 of 21.12.2022) aid is limited to 100% of the real costs incurred.
