Italian meatballs with "no cook" tomato sauce

Ingredients

Meat balls

  • 450g minced lamb
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablesp scallions, chopped
  • 1 tablesp soy sauce
  • 1 tablesp. chilli sauce
  • Salt and black pepper

Tomato sauce

  • 5-6 tomatoes, diced 1 tablesp. basil chopped
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 2 tablesp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper

Pasta

  • 350g pasta, cooked and kept warm

Mix the lamb with all the meat ball ingredients and shape into little meatballs. Mix the tomato sauce ingredients together.

Cook the meatballs in a little hot oil for 4-5 minutes. Add the tomato mixture to the hot pasta, toss well.

Then add the meatballs plus any juices from the pan.
