Celebrate Strawberry Season (CSS) runs from May to October each year. The CSS campaign is very tuned into the seasonal availability and supply of Irish strawberries. Promotion takes places subject to the fruit’s availability. For example, the Irish weather may mean that the season starts late, or the supply of strawberries is reduced during the season.
The campaign provides appealing recipes and suggestions of ways to include strawberries into daily eating habits through showcasing their versatility as a healthy fruit, as well as highlighting their health benefits.
The campaign features fun recipe videos, influencer activity, recipe collaborations, print advertorials and grower features, all supported with continuous social media posting
Celebrate Strawberry Season Ambassadors 2025
Bord Bia has teamed up with a panel of influencers for CSS 2025, Lilly Higgins, Lorna Caulfield and Shane Smith. This year they will be creating new strawberry inspired recipes and showcasing the versatility of strawberries during this strawberry season.
