Farmers Market Training for Organic Producers

Bord Bia is hosting a skills workshops designed for producers who are selling or wish to sell at Farmers Markets.

Specially developed by Bord Bia, ‘Skills Training for Selling at Farmers’ Markets’ is open to Irish food, drink, seafood and horticulture producers who are organically certified or who are planning to be organically certified in the future.

The workshop will be delivered by Bord Bia in conjunction with experienced stall holder and farmer, Margaret Hoctor of Kilmullen Farm in Co. Wicklow.

The workshops will cover activities including skills required to sell at farmers markets, budgeting, stall management and much more.

Attendees will also get the opportunity to visit the organic kitchen garden at Burtown House.
