On Thursday 18^th of November, Bord Bia hosted a debrief on our Australia market entry guide for drinks. Australia has been identified as an emerging market for Irish drinks, in particular for Irish spirits. In 2020, Irish spirits exports to Australia grew by 18% to total €26m and the total of Irish drinks exports to Oceania was higher than Asia. 2021 has been a difficult year for exports to the market due to Covid restrictions but Bord Bia have identified Australia as a key emerging market for drinks and we hope our Australia Market Guide for drinks will act as a key tool for clients looking to enter the market.
