On Thursday, February 3rd, Bord Bia hosted the following webinar providing a practical view of import control measures that food and drink companies need to operate to when exporting their product to GB.
Damien Flynn, Head of Brexit Unit at Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, presented on known SPS requirements and IPAFFS notifications. Raphael Ryan, Assistant Principal in the Customs Division at Department of Revenue Commissioners, gave an overview on customs requirements and compliance. Finally, Robert Hardy, co-founder at EORI, provided some on-the-ground examples of issues arising around import control in GB. The webinar was concluded with a panel discussion led by Donal Denvir, General Manager at Bord Bia UK. All presentations can be downloaded below.
