New York Summer Fancy Food and Retail Market Study Visit 2022
The purpose and objective of this Market Study Visit is two-fold:
Day 1 Saturday 11th
- US Market Overview:
A comprehensive overview of doing business in the US and delivering growth. The presentation will include an overview of stakeholders in your supply chain, the role of each and planning for success in the US market.
Day 2 Sunday 12th
- Summer Fancy Food Show:
The Summer Fancy Food Show is North America’s largest Specialty Food and Beverage Event. After an absence of two years due to Covid-19, the SFF returns to the Jacob Javits Convention Centre in 2022 where a wide spectrum of the US and global food industry will be represented.

- Group Networking Event:
An opportunity to network both with other Irish businesses, as well as external stakeholders.
Day 3 Monday 13th
- Summer Fancy Food:
Second day to experience the Summer Fancy Food Show
- New York Metro Immersion:
Evening presentation: Taking a Bite from the Big Apple - Growing your Business in New York City. A dive into the unique New York metro market, how it differs and how to succeed. This will be followed by an opportunity to explore the New York metro including visiting top independent stores
Day 4 Tuesday 14th
- Retail Store Safari in Philadelphia:
Bord Bia will organise bus transfers to Philadelphia where the retail stores are more representative of the US market than those closer to New York. The safari will cover retail stores across multiple channels including both national and regional retail stores. 2.5 hr commute time each way.
- Group Dinner:
Opportunity to network with other Irish companies exporting to the Unites States to learn from each other’s experiences and share opportunities and challenges.
This Bord Bia MSV to New York will be taking place from 11th to the 15th of June 2022, with a registration cost of €150.00 per attendee.
Bord Bia will provide further details on accommodation and coordinate a full itinerary for the clients that register to go.

- Fly out morning of Saturday 11th June arriving into JRK Airport late morning/midday ahead of the US Market overview at 17.00 that evening.
