This report looks at the performance of Irish food and drink exports in 2015 and looks ahead at how the sector may perform in 2016. Irish food and drink exports for 2017 were valued at €12.6bn, an increase of 13%. Details are provided for the value of individual food and drink categories. The Irish food and drink sector recorded the sixth consecutive year of export growth in 2015 as increased output in key sectors, favourable exchange rate developments and better returns for beef, seafood and beverages helped to offset a considerable weakening in dairy prices.
