
Friday the 6th of October was Bord Bia's National Potato Day and a chance to celebrate the taste, versatility and nutritional benefits of potatoes. The campaign highlighted that potatoes have never been so convenient to make with a surge of inventive, easy to prepare and on-trend air fryer recipes that fit into every life stage and lifestyle. It also affirmed that potatoes remain one of the best value for money ingredients available and a must-have item in shopping carts.
This year, Bord Bia worked with the King and Queen of Air-fryer recipes in Ireland - Gina and Karol Daly - to get the nation excited about mealtimes with potatoes and to share some tasty, fun and easy air-fryer recipes. Gina and Karol took to the streets to find out what Irish people think and it was clear that potatoes remain the nation's favourite vegetable!
