AllinAll Ingredients has made substantial progress in waste reduction and recycling in 2024. Total waste was reduced by 10.78% compared to its base year, with both general and recycled waste volumes decreasing. The amount of waste recycled also increased by 3.57% from the base year. Despite acknowledging limitations in further reducing waste from essential incoming packaging, the company aims to increase the proportion of total waste recycled to 80% by the end of 2027.
A key focus for AllinAll is food waste management. Approximately 11.8 tonnes of production-generated food waste were responsibly managed through a food surplus management company. Crucially, 100% of this food waste is sent to anaerobic digestion (AD), supporting renewable energy generation. As a B2B company unable to use food redistribution platforms, this responsible disposal method is critical. A new target has been established to minimise avoidable food waste by monitoring expiring stock more closely, reducing written-off products, and improving stock management practices.
AllinAll’s comprehensive approach and demonstrated achievements highlight its strong environmental stewardship, and it’s focus on continuous improvement.
