In 2024, All Real Nutrition strengthened its commitment to sustainability by advancing its waste reduction initiatives. While waste produced per unit of output increased from 0.09 kg/kg in 2023 to 0.17 kg/kg in 2024, the company remained well below its milestone target of 0.222 kg/kg. This reflects continued control over waste generation despite operational changes and growth.
The company successfully completed or made progress on all planned waste-related initiatives. A key development was the implementation of a new bar-forming machine, which eliminated the need for baking parchment in production. This change not only reduced material waste but also improved efficiency by enabling the identification and removal of underweight bars before packaging.
These underweight bars are now reformed to the correct size, further minimising production waste. This innovation has helped streamline operations and reduce the volume of food waste generated during manufacturing, aligning with the company’s broader waste reduction goals.
All Real Nutrition also enhanced its waste tracking and process monitoring systems in 2024. These improvements have enabled more accurate measurement and management of waste across all operations, supporting data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
