In 2024, Manor Farm placed a strong focus on increasing the number of suppliers holding recognised sustainability and quality certifications, aligning with the company’s long-term environmental and ethical goals. As part of this broader strategy, Manor Farm continues to source all poultry exclusively from farms approved under the Sustainable Poultry Producers Assurance Scheme (SPPAS), reinforcing its dedication to quality, traceability, and sustainable farming practices.
In 2023, 34% of Manor Farm’s 50 suppliers held company-level certifications. By 2024, this figure had risen to 54% (27 suppliers), surpassing the milestone target of 45% by a notable
margin. These certifications include ISO 14001, ISO 15001, Origin Green membership, and Ecovadis ratings. This progress highlights Manor Farm’s proactive approach to supplier engagement and its influence in driving sustainability improvements across its supply chain.
A key development in 2024 was the phased introduction of Ecovadis assessments for suppliers. All suppliers were invited to complete the Ecovadis sustainability survey, with 18 specifically requested to undergo full assessment. Of these, 12 have completed the process, and four more are currently in progress. This initiative supports greater transparency and provides a structured framework for evaluating supplier performance across environmental, social, and ethical dimensions.
Manor Farm is committed to minimising its environmental impact and recognises that a key pillar of this ambition is working with suppliers to ensure that each actor along the supply chain is working towards a shared goal
