In addition to the IPAFFS 24 hour pre-notification and entry via a BCP requirements, all dairy products must be accompanied by an Export Health Certificate (EHC).
The Irish exporter must ensure that you have access to the necessary IT systems in order to request an EHC from the appropriate authority in advance of the export. Please refer to the DAFM website for appropriate guidance specific to your product.
The Irish exporter will email a scanned copy of the EHC to the GB importer. The original EHC must travel with the consignment.
The GB based importer must complete pre-notification of the import on IPAFFS and upload a colour scanned copy of the EHC.
Documentary, identity and physical checks will take place at the BCP.
