Brexit Workshops June 7th-9th 2022
For most food and drink exporters to the UK, trade is flowing, but 18 months after the introduction of changes from the UK leaving the EU market, what are the key considerations for Food and Drink Exporters?
Bord Bia will host a series of in-person workshops in collaboration with expert consultancy, PerformanSC. They will be held in Dublin, Athlone and Tipperary. Please see the details below:
June 7th: Castleknock Hotel, Dublin 15
June 8th: Radisson Blue, Athlone
June 9th: The Horse and Jockey, Tipperary
These workshops will run from 9:30am - 1:30pm, followed by a Q&A over lunch and will cover:
- Key trade and customs requirements into UK
- Top 5 learnings from client companies since January 2021
- Update on expected future changes and timelines – SPS and Customs inspections, product labelling
- Managing brokers and third party logistics providers
- Incoterms and the role of exporter and importer of record
- Company readiness and compliance responsibilities with Revenue and HMRC
- Considerations for bringing customs responsibilities in house
- Special customs procedures to streamline the flow of goods and customs costs – AEO, bonded warehousing, inward and outward processing
- Managing eCommerce shipments and returns
- Q&A with customs and logistics teams
