Future Scenarios of Food and Drink – Shaping 2035

This report provides a long term expert-driven exploration into the development of food and drink over the next 10-15 years. As the Covid-19 pandemic has shown the future is uncertain, but it is certainly plannable. This work was developed with the objective of bringing insight and encouraging debate on the future path of food and drink across the globe and how Ireland’s food and drink industry might best prepare and shape that future.

Four possible future scenarios are identified which seek to examine what might happen if extremes come to pass, provoking fresh thinking and driving ideas which will inform the future of Food and Drink.
