In 2024, Lisavaird Food Group made notable progress in advancing sustainable sourcing practices by increasing the percentage of suppliers with company-level sustainability certifications from 35% (6 out of 17) in 2023 to 53% (9 out of 17). This achievement exceeded the company’s milestone target by 11.8%, reflecting a strong commitment to responsible procurement.

This progress was driven by a structured approach to supplier engagement and performance monitoring. Lisavaird Food Group implemented four key initiatives during the year, including the rollout of detailed supplier sustainability questionnaires and a comprehensive review of supplier performance. These tools enabled the company to assess alignment with its sustainability values and identify opportunities for improvement.

The supplier questionnaires served as a foundation for dialogue, encouraging transparency and collaboration. By gathering insights into suppliers’ environmental and social practices, Lisavaird Food Group was able to support and guide them toward achieving recognised sustainability certifications.

In parallel, the company’s review of supplier performance helped to embed sustainability into procurement decisions. This process not only ensured compliance with internal standards but also reinforced the importance of continuous improvement across the supply chain.
